| How to use the Digitalk Log Parser |

The Digitalk Log Parser was designed to a have a simple and intuitive interface. All options are obvious and there is no need to explain them here in a detailed manner. When using this tool we strongly recommend that you should not leave the two second refresh rate except for the time you are tracing calls in real-time mode. All the calls are parsed real-time at server side and saved to a local database so you you won't miss any of them anyway.
The best way to understand the interface is to enter the demo mode. Just hoover your mouse pointer over the text next to settings options and you will get a balloon containing a short description of each individual setting as shown in the image here. This demo version has the real-time capability disabled and you can't see calls coming through but all other features are active. After modifying each setting you should press "Refresh Now!" button in order to apply them. Please note in the filtering section, the text field that contains the string to be searched has a default value of “%%” - as you may already know from Digitalk usage, a “%” sign represents a wild card that could be translated into “anything”. In order to have an exact match please don’t use any wild card in your search string.
