Recorder completely out of commission, missed recording of one of my daughters first dance solos, and several other events, stress over not able to replace due to $ right now. I ordered this head cleaner (probably should have bought one when I bought the camera years ago) and the camera works perfectly after two runs with this cleaner! Back into action now!! Great price and quick shipping too! Thanks!

I thought my camara was toast. This head cleaner fixed my problem within seconds. Thankfully my JVC cam prompted me to clean the heads. Sadly, I had a cannon that encounterd the same problem of thick black lines on play back. There was no prompting and I had a repair guy tell me the device could not be fixed. Yep, in went, needlessly, into the giant trash can of life. I was astonished that circuit city did not carry any head cleaners for the camcorder they sold me. Thanks amazon.

So I made the cardinal mistake of splicing a broken miniDV with scotch tape and greasy fingers only to find out that I had trashed the heads in my JVC camera. I almost cried myself to sleep that night thinking that I ruined our camera. I ran this for 10 seconds as described in the instructions and now it works again! Incredible. Now I don't have to try to explain to my wife how I broke the camera.

I was watching a tape on my camera and I saw Grey lines. I knew my video heads were dirty but I didn't know it would look like that. So after recording 60 hr I guess you need to clean the thing. Or it was my camcorer breaking. I knew taking it for service would cause me at least 60 buck plus repairs. I didn't want to take it into be serviced. Lucky for me this JVC model was on sale. I was gonna get a Sony one to match my camera, but the price of $5.00 made me pick the JVC and it worked great.
