| Customer Reviews: Pretty Good November 26, 2008 Z. Fashola (NY) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just purchased two of these from a retailer in Manhattan (charged me 8 times the price there!) and while I was at the store, the sales person inserted my umd into the case and both my games started working again...after 4 months of thinking there were useless! This is a pretty good case to buy if you still want to keep playing your games, or want to resell them.
NoiseyArmor March 6, 2008 B. Moore (USA) I purchased this product to test out the durability when compared to another product of similar design.
First off, the price is outrageous and you only get 1 replacement case. I understand that these help you replay games of greater value, but it's not worth it to purchase this to repair a game that costs only double what you pay for this prouduct.
I took the replacement case out of the packaging and slid in my broken game. Here is where another problem came in because the snaps didn't line up quite right and I had to toggle them around to make this work out right.
After I got it all set, I put it in my PSP and went to load up the game. It made awful scratching noises and took a about 30 seconds to load up the game. While playing, the noise still continued to rattle around and I just decided to take the game out.
I suggest surfing around and looking for something else before putting your PSP and your ears through this agony.
Noisy Armor April 16, 2008 B. Moore (USA) I had purchased one of these replacement cases by Snap Armor to test it's durability and playability as compared to another product on the market. When I recieved it, I removed it from the packaging. I admire how they stuck plastic sheets to keep the case from getting scratched during removal from the packaging. It was very easy to take my broken game out place it inside of the new case. I did however find that some of the pins in my case needed som slight adjustments to fit properly. After getting it all together though, I put it in my PSP. Then, the a loud scratching noise came from the PSP. After letting this noise go on for about a minute without the game loading up, I took the game out. All in all, it didn't work for me.. I suggest looking elsewhere for a different replacement or just letting your small game investment go to waste.
